My church has challenged the members to read the entire KJV New Testament in the month of January. Today is the 3rd day and I am right on "shed-dual" (that's schedule for you regular folks). I'm always surprised at how I notice new things even in the most basic of passages. Like this one:
Matthew 10:
2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
I don't remember hearing about a disciple named Lebbaeus Thaddaeus! Ok, I'm embarrassed!
